Success Stories

Currently, CORD Sidhbari has touched the lives of over 55,000 beneficiaries directly, and over 2,75,000, indirectly, in over 500 villages of District Kangra, through our Comprehensive Integrated Rural Development Programme. The thrust of our programme is working with village women through several village level structures. Our programme is demand-driven, participatory, and holistic in approach. It integrates every aspect of life through Mahila Mandals, Yuva Mandals, Gram Sabhas, micro-credit through Self Help Groups, Community Based Livelihood for the Farm and Allied Sectors, Community Based Livelihood for the Non-Farm Sector, Social Justice and Informal Legal facilitation, Alcohol Abuse Awareness, Local Self-Governance/Panchayat Raj Institution, Health, Community Based Rehabilitation for the Disabled, Participatory Natural Resources Management, Adult Literacy Balwadies and Balavihars.
