Prior to and since its inception, CMHR was one of the first areas in Canada to run Chinmaya summer camps presided by Param Pujya Swami Chinmayananda.  Currently, CMHR conducts Balvihar, Yuvakendra and study groups in the Halton-Wentworth area (cities of Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, Milton, Halton Hills and surrounding towns/cities).
